The 23rd ACM Conference on Information Technology Education (SIGITE 2022) will be hosted by Illinois Institute of Technology and will take place on the campus of Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois, September 21-24, 2022. The conference is sponsored by the ACM Special Interest Group for Information Technology Education (SIGITE). The conference pr!ovides a forum for sharing and developing ideas relating to Information Technology (IT) research, education, applications, IT industry-academia relationships, and our roles as professionals, educators, teachers, and advocates for the effective use of information technology.
Conference Theme
The theme of the 23rd ACM Conference on Information Technology Education will be “All Means All: Achieving Equity Through IT Education.” The growing need for an empowered information technology workforce has clearly demonstrated that in order to fill all of the roles that expanding technology demands, everyone must play a part. As we bear a major responsibility for the future, information technology educators must ensure that women and underrepresented minorities are prepared to fill a significant share of these roles—both as a matter of equity and as a way of ensuring we can educate enough professionals to meet future demand.

Booths, opportunities for presentations, and/or space in the program will be made available to publishers, software houses, and other interested vendors who wish to sponsor SIGITE 2022. We are particularly looking for meal sponsors who will have an opportunity to present during the sponsored meal.
